On December 22, 2004, Sunday afternoon, near El Montoso, Mexico, a Cessna T207A Turbo Stationair 7, XB-MLO, was conducting flyovers in the region when it impacted terrain resulting in fatal injuries for its 7 occupants.

Emergency services from Quitupan arrived at the scene and confirmed the deaths of seven people. However, due to the remote location and limited communication, the causes of the accident remain unknown.

The accident aircraft, which reportedly originated from La Parota, Michoacán, Mexico crashed in a remote wooded area.
